I thought the link method was presented very well. However it would seem only to work if you wanted to remember a fixed set of data. I don’t think it would work in just everyday memorization like if someone told you you had a meeting or appointment on such and such a day at a certain time. I know because unless I write it down I forget even if it’s for the same day or the next day. I even forget when my wife tells me to do something before she goes to work. I had a walnut size brain tumor removed from my right front temporal lobe grade II/III oglidendroglioma and I have had short term memory problems ever since. Long term comes to me eventually but short term is practically nil. I have been trying to find ways to improve my memory without much success. That is why I was looking into this article. My surgery was back in Dec. 2000, so I’ve had lots of time trying to find a way to improve short term memory. Thanks for the article and I’ll keep on looking.
